Para Dee, aka, The Nai!
Here's my little update for the week/ day, in list form!

- still haven't finished uni application. Need to finalise course choices (i need a backup option) and personal statement. Though according to the parents, I've already left it too late, as I always do, and now it's my own fault if I'm left doing nothing next year.
- completely owned friend at Tetris.
- have a biology test next week, on everything so far. Joy joy.
- filmed some of my documentary for media, and sorted out a day to interview my psych. teacher. At one point, we - media partner and I - went to a little farm and filmed sheep. 8D Still need to find a narrator and music.
- narrowed camera i want down to two choices: Sony Alpha 330, or the Canon EOS 1000D. Though it really costs too much for me to buy one anyway - I've spent a lot this month...
- Muse have released UK stadium tour dates for next year - one of which is in London - and tickets go on general sale this friday. Sadly, I won't be able to go cause I have no-one to go with.
- finally charged iPod and stuck new music on there - Muse, SOAD and Coldplay, in case you were wondering.
- lost memory stick, but recovered personal statement, which is good. Though the parents didn't seem to hear that part and shouted at me for not looking more upset/ not crying in front of them. Made a backup of it now, but will have to look for it [memory stick] again tomorrow.
- played Twilight Princess. Tis muchly fun. =D
- really wanted to write, but couldn't get the words out. demotivation.
- got some 3D glasses from Sainsburys.
- wanted to do a pencil drawing but had a slight confidence crisis. moar demotivation.
- felt bored of life in general/ failed to see point in anything. This is happening increasingly often.

I like lists.
Not so good at the whole ranting/ really talking thing though. Ah well.
Also, today, the sister sang "here we are now, eating clovers", to the tune of Smells Like Teen Spirit. In a (bad) Irish accent. Fun stuff. xD
Children in need day friday. = )

I think I've done this before but hey, tis fun. 8D

questions, questions... )

In other news, I'm having fun with my guitar, though I'm a bit rubbish. (that said, it's been less than a week since I got it, so it's to be expected. xD I'm trying to learn a few chords right now. 8D I'm having trouble with the ones you have to barr though, and epic trouble with the ones that have notes with a fret gap between them. Oh deeeear. Ah well, I'll get there in the end. It's not like I have a deadline.)

I shall try and play Twilight Princess tomorrow. The Wii has finally been moved! Yay!

Well from the complete disinterest I'm getting elsewhere, I guess no-one really cares about what happened to me today, so I shall just say here, where you can feel free to ignore it. (:

Today was fun. T'was one of the nicest days I've had in a while really. In the morning, I gave my parents their present, which they liked, and I got my own presents, yay! 8D It doesn't happen often. xD
A new phone (which now works, after a lot of hassle - oh, I have a new number too, by the way), headphones, Bolt, all the Matrix films on DVD, monies and the most epic thing: an electric guitar. I have a guitar! 8D
Though with the last thing, I shall need help learning how to play it. I can't even tune it properly, eep. D: But I'll get there. Maybe.

I also got a big bag of chocolate coins and some party poppers, which is always fun 8D

Then a bit later on, we went to a restaurant, where I ordered this huge pizza (that I tragically couldn't finish, sad-face. D: ) watched some of the fireworks on the way to the car, then came home.

Though my happiness has kind of gone into a downward spiral since then. Mainly due to the very first thing I said *gestures up* and feeling unloved because of it. Which is just paranoia, probably, because I honestly know people are busy and have other things to think about. Ahh, paranoia, I know thee well. But you know, I'm feeling better even after just writing this.

That said, I'm still going to appear offline on msn for now. For a little while, anyway. Partly because if I appear online and no-one talks to me, I'm only going to feel miserable again (insecurity is fun), partly because it's just easier.

But yeah, today was good.

I hope everyone else has had a good day. And if you've had a not-so-good day, I hope it gets better for you. *hugs*

Because I needed to make myself happier/ have something to look forward to/ just wanted to...

Guess who ordered Prodigy ticketsssss? 8D and is now £100 poorer oh dear
Pendulum, Enter Shikari and Does it Offend You Yeah? are also playing. Huzzah! 8D

*raves*

IE still doesn't work though. And my 'puter is crashing a lot more frequently now. So word of warning - if I suddenly vanish, yeah, it's probably that.
[note - in the middle of writing this, my computer crashed again. twice in a row. it's dying really, it doesn't have much life left on it. i just want to back up everything before the final big crash happens. then i can do nothing for a few weeks/ months. buying an external hard-drive may have to come sooner rather than later. but yes, i will miss everyone if it comes to that. D: ]
Also! Parent's anniversary this week, which means we all get presents this weekend, joy! I saw some wrapping paper in the parent's shopping bag today and felt most excited. =D We even bought the cats posh cat food so they could join in with the fun. 8D (but I suspect that they won't go back to the cheap stuff now, boo. XD)

Well, I promised I'd write a journal, so here it is.
Holidays are kind of uneventful so far. Found out about this: http://www.theprodigytickets.com/event.html?ec=prod_mk today, but every time I mentioned it, the mother purposefully talked over what I was saying, which was nice. Ah well, there's always going to be other chances.
Hairdressers tomorrow. Shall be interesting. Nothing more to add to that.
Going to Bath at some point this saturday, which should be fun. And I won't be around for part of the day on sunday, which I expect will just be a relief.

Lots and lots of clothes that I want, but really shouldn't get, because I'm saving my money for no reason whatsoever.
Oh! Still stuck about what SLR camera to get if I actually choose to buy one.

Yeah.

i just wish i was better at talking about what i actually want to say.

This book. THIS BOOK.
IMMA LET YOU FINISH, BUT THIS BOOK IS THE SICKEST KID'S BOOK OF ALL TIME. ALL TIME! *mandatory Kanye meme*
Really, that's the most disturbing thing I've seen. Seriously. Ever. well, there was this one time okay, in the last 10 minutes.

I don't like large, empty, white boxes. Text boxes. Like this one. There's so much to say, so much I want to say, or have to say, or think I should say, then I look at the big, empty, white box and the steady, blinking line and it's like it's staring back at you and daring you to speak out yet muting you at the same time. It like it's saying you could never fill such a vast space with the stuff you want to say. It's like it drains all your power of reason and language and structure and puts up a block. It's like... All you have are empty words for an empty space and everything is empty. It's still empty now.

i don't even know. it doesn't matter.
i'm only talking to myself here anyway.

So yes, back from Devon, hurrah! 8D

In the whole of Slapton, there was one shop. And two pubs we weren't allowed in but went in in the last day anyway.

We played cards a lot. I failed quite epicly.

And I said many stupid things that made my friends laugh at me. For example:

Me, with a look of pure and total shock: You got the train to the train station?

I swear that made sense in my head before I said. At the time.
I'm still being mocked about it with various airport jokes, aheh.

But yeah, apart from a lack of stuff to do in the evenings, it really wasn't that bad. T'was fun at times. 8D I mean, going to the beach to identify grass and bugs in the pouring rain isn't exactly an ideal week for me - having to share one toilet and 3 showers between 30 odd girls wasn't really a highlight either - But the epic trek on friday through brambles and muddy hills was actually really fun. It made me want to go walking more around here. And I got gingerbread men and lollies and got to see the look on my teachers face when she overheard a... Ahem, interesting conversation between me and my friends that ttly didn't involve striping and open windows.

omg ucas uni next year wth am i going to do haaaaaaaalp T_______T

To do list for dA: Sketch meme, 31 prompts, mental disorder series, something completely new and me and unrelated to the previous.

Have a good week. 8D

So I caved and ordered a graphic's tablet. A leetle Wacom one. Should get here by next week, yays 8D
Which is good, cause drawing with the touchpad = Epic fail.

Speaking of touchpad drawage, I started drawing Ryan picture again, yay 8D The outline for the face is a bit screwed up, but I can improve on that later, right? Right? D:

My Skullcandy headphones are yet to arrive.

AND OMG MY FOB POSTER GLOWS IN THE DARK HOW EPIC

Back to sixth form nao. It's less stressful without chemistry, but I'm slightly swamped in homework already. I have to make two different documentaries for two different subjects, arghness!

Cut for panicness )

Feel free to ignore the last bit.

iTunes is more fun now. IT WILL OBEY ME 8D
